I.T.E.C. Youth Services' Dollar Drive
Founded in 1990, and recognized for outstanding community service by President Bill Clinton, I.T.E.C. Youth Services is a grassroots, community and faith based non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing intervention and prevention services and activities that change the lives of high-risk, children and youth between the ages of five and eighteen.  Target children and youth are exposed to high levels of risk in their families, communities and social environments.  These risk typically lead to educational failure including dropping out of school, involvement in juvenile delinquency and criminal activity including involvement in gangs, sexual promiscuity and teen pregnancy and teenaged alcohol and drug abuse.

Since its inception in 1990. I.T.E.C. has provided services and helped changed the lives of over 5000 children and youth.  Today, in 2011 I.T.E.C. currently networks with small grass-roots, community and faith-based agencies (including churches) across the United States.  These partner agencies and affiliates are located in high poverty, high crime areas and neighborhoods where hundreds of young children and youth live and grow up.  The majority of these agencies are volunteer driven and operate on a shoestring budget.  Many of them are founded and managed by individuals who were raised in similar environments as the children and youth they serve.  These individuals understand the circumstances and they know how to help.

Because of this, these agencies operate with the passion and the understanding that without intervention and prevention services provided by their agencies, the majority of the children and youth living in their target areas will become a mirror of the environment they live in and engage in inappropriate and destructive behaviors that will literally destroy their lives and the lives of many others who will become victims of their inappropriate and sometimes criminal behavior.
I.T.E.C. provides these partner agencies with resources and funding to help support their cause.  You Can Help to. Simply donate at least $1.00.  Every little bit helps!!!
